Appointments are required at Elizabeth Cole Bridal, a bridal boutique in Columbia SC, so that you may have the best possible experience! There are 3 different types of appointments: The Classic, The Heirloom, and Accessory. ECB asks that brides have a wedding date, venue in mind, budget, and their core "I do Crew" with them at their appointment. A year or more in advance of your wedding day is the perfect time to dress shop, five months for a Little White Dress, accessories 3-6 months ahead of your wedding day! Wedding day coming up quick? No worries! Elizabeth Cole Bridal has an entire wall of gowns that can be purchased right off the rack!
Once you have found the one, sit back and relax. ECB will contact you via email in about 6-8 months to let you know your dress has arrived! We store your gown complimentary for 30 days. If you have purchase off the rack or special ordered, ECB will provide a seamstress list for you to take your gown and start the alteration process. Alterations costs are paid directly to the tailor. Steaming is complimentary with a 72 hour notice for bridal portraits and the big day!

During your 1.5 hour private or semi-private appointment you will be invited to shop the store with the help and guidance of an ECB consultant. Find your wedding gown and veil! Group size is limited to 4 people plus the bride.

This appointment is also a great time to find that perfect lwd {little white dress} for all your other wedding party needs.

Wedding gowns take 4-8 months to arrive. Little White Dress around 4 months, veils and accessories 2-3 months. Rushes can sometimes be accommodated for an additional fee. Select gowns available for purchase off the rack. Accessories available for immediate purchase.

How Long do Gowns take to arrive?
Yes, appointments are required! These ensure both the bride and the shop are ready for the best possible appointment! We ask that brides do a bit of homework ahead of time including having a set wedding date, discussed a wedding dress budget and have the people most important for your say yes moment present. Group size is limited to 4 people plus the bride. Larger parties can be accommodated if booked as a our Heirloom Appointment.

Do you require an appointment?
No, we do not have an in house seamstress. However we are happy to provide a list of seamstresses in the area. Alterations are a separate charge paid directly to the seamstress. On average a seamstress likes 3 months for all alterations to be completed. Remember to have your wedding shoes at your first fitting appointment!

Do you have in house alterations?
Once the gown arrives, we will reach out by phone or email. Gowns are stored complimentary for 30 days after arrival. A storage fee may apply for dresses left past 30 days. Steaming is complimentary with a 72 hour notice prior to portraits and the wedding day.

Do you store or Steam my wedding gown?
Yes! We use The Wedding Gown Preservation Company out of NYC. Cleaning takes 2-3 months to get back and costs $200. Cleaning and preservation takes 3-4 months to return and costs $375. Cleaning and preservation seals your wedding gown and veil in an air tight box preventing damage over time. This truly makes your wedding gown an heirloom piece!
